The final product - an exhibition space neatly tucked between two studio spaces. One designed organically for Leonardo da Vinci (top level); the other for the controversial artist Patricia Piccinini (underground). The words that reflect both these studio spaces are "Anatomical" (for Leonardo da Vinci) and "Nurture" (for Patricia Piccinini).
Materials include the use of rubber for the top floor, fake grass/hay for the interior of the bottom level with carefully arranged pieces of glazing to cast beautiful textured shadows into the interior of the exhibition space.
The staircases, joining all the levels together emphasise the unity of the whole structure, although each space is designed for a particular purpose and style according to the artist.
